Job Description:

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term role to prepare for higher-level supervisory responsibilities. It involves basic operations and management training, building customer loyalty through exceptional service, and learning CVS/pharmacy culture. Key leadership roles include driving store execution, building consumer loyalty, and ensuring smooth store operations.

Job Responsibility:

Work effectively with store management and store crews
supervise the store’s crew by assigning, directing and following up on activities
effectively communicate information between management and crews
assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints
promote CVS customer service culture
handle customer relations issues
maintain customer/patient confidentiality

Requirements:

Deductive reasoning ability
analytical skills
computer skills
advanced communication skills
ability to work a flexible schedule including early morning, overnight and weekend shifts
ability to work overtime as needed

Nice to have:

Experience in retail
high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
