Shift Maintenance Engineer

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in power and lighting circuits
• Reset tripped breakers and replace faulty components
• Respond to alarms from Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Repair emergency lighting and battery backup systems
• Assist in planned power shutdowns and changeovers
• Conduct weekly generator load testing
• Inspect fuel levels and generator cooling systems
• Monitor and maintain UPS battery health
• Maintain and repair chillers, CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioning) units, AHUs (Air Handling Units), and FCUs (Fan Coil Units)
• Clean and replace air filters, belts, and bearings
• Check refrigerant levels and diagnose faults in DX (Direct Expansion) and VRV/VRF systems
• Monitor and maintain cooling towers and associated water treatment
• Inspect and maintain booster sets and sump pumps
• Repair leaking pipework and replace valves where necessary
• Maintain pressurisation units and expansion vessels
• Unblock drains and investigate leaks
• Repair faulty taps, toilets, and sinks
• Inspect water storage tanks and maintain Legionella compliance

• C&G 18th Edition
• C&G / NVQ Level 3 in electrical/mechanical maintenance
• Min. 2 years critical building maintenance experience
• Min. 5 years building services maintenance experience
