Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer. This role involves leading initiatives, contributing to technical strategies, designing, and debugging software, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with teams. The candidate should have experience with test automation, quality engineering practices, and enterprise engineering transformation. This position is based in Bengaluru and offers full-time employment.

Job Responsibility:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
contribute to large scale planning of strategies
design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
review moderately complex technical challenges
resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet client needs
collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers
lead projects and act as an escalation point
provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience
excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
broad and deep knowledge of test automation methodologies and frameworks
experienced in developing automation frameworks (Web/Mobile)
experienced on working microservices automation
experienced in quality engineering practices like Code review, Secure coding practices, Code Quality, Code Coverage, CI/CD
experience into test automation with tools such as Selenium/Playwright/UFT
deep understanding of Behavior Driven Development methodology
strong test automation methodology knowledge with tools and one or more general purpose programming languages like JAVA, .NET, VBScript, JavaScript and Python
continuously research and adopt new automation tools, techniques, and best practices
contribute to software quality by participating in code reviews, design discussions, and process enhancements
collaborate with cross-functional teams
communicate test results and status to stakeholders
extensive technical skills and comprehensive knowledge of enterprise quality engineering transformation journey
prior experience implementing test automation solutions in a dynamic, complex, and scaled environment
experience in Banking domain (1–2 years, preferably Lending)
ability to understand business processes and map application functions
excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
ability to work in a team
ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
effective communicator
