Job Description:

Are you a passionate and experienced Social Worker looking for an opportunity to protect and support vulnerable children and families? Join Walsall's Safeguarding Team, where your expertise will be key in making a real difference in children's lives.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct assessments and interventions to safeguard children and families
Manage a complex caseload, ensuring timely and effective responses
Work closely with partner agencies, including schools, police, and health professionals
Develop and implement child protection plans to promote stability and security
Attend court proceedings, case conferences, and strategy meetings
Offer support and guidance to junior team members

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker
Registration with Social Care England
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, procedures, and best practices
Excellent assessment and decision-making skills
The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
