Job Responsibility:

  • Accountable for overseeing change portfolio and value management activities
  • Responsible for stakeholder management, portfolio delivery tracking, capability plan management, thematic portfolio reviews and portfolio delivery RAIDs
  • Drive the adoption of HSBC Change Framework standards and work in alignment with HSBC transformation methodology at all times
  • Supports effective portfolio, programme and project risk management through the implementation of the HSBC Change framework
  • Provide inputs to senior management to allow portfolio risks and issues to be addressed
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders internally & externally to ensure the portfolio is reported accurately and with insight, to ensure appropriate management action
  • Supporting Transformation Leadership to shape direction and strategy for the portfolio and reflect this in portfolio prioritization
  • Supporting Transformation Leadership and the Group Transformation Office to shape new ways of working and processes to optimize portfolios

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience with at least 3 years in programme/project management role on complex projects across countries or regions
  • Understanding of the Programme and Project lifecycle
  • including working knowledge of Project Management methodologies, PMO processes and best practice techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Evidence of self-development e.g. working through appropriate curriculum
  • Experience in leading PMO unit would be an asset
  • SAFe Agilist, PMP, MSP or Prince2 training or certification is an advantage
