Job Description:

To support their growth and change agenda, Circle K Norge is strengthening the Performance Management and Analytics (PMA) team by hiring a Senior Business Controller. The role focuses on financial insight, CAPEX process management, network optimization, and providing financial and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Creating financial insight into various business areas
providing expertise, support, and basis for good decision-making processes
follow-up of financial performance
improving business and financial processes
ensuring fact-based investment decisions
managing and coordinating the CAPEX process
developing and evaluating business cases
coordinating investment committee
following up on investments, network optimization, and site profitability
reappraisals, benchmarking, and tail-end analyses
building relationships and challenging stakeholders and decision-makers
business partnering towards selected teams
creating business insight and providing recommendations

Requirements:

Relevant higher education (Bachelor's or Master's degree in, for example, administration and management, economics, or accounting)
solid experience in controlling (minimum 4 years)
strong understanding of accounting principles
comfortable challenging management and operations on both operational and strategic decisions
strong IT and system skills, with excellent proficiency in Excel and Power BI
good verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English
