Job Description:

The Senior Accountant is a Gurgaon-based position responsible for end-to-end accounting, financial statements preparation, taxation, and compliance.

Job Responsibility:

Processes financial and operational transactions in General Ledgers for business line operations
Creates and prepares account reconciliations on balance sheet accounts and analyzes them to determine the appropriateness of the balances
Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audits
Prepare monthly GST returns (GSTR 1, GSTR 3B), annual GST return (GSTR 9, and 9C)
Monthly TDS compliance and quarterly return filling
Quarterly Advance Tax working, ITR filling, Tax audit report and 3CEB filing
Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting packages to management
Prepares periodic intermediate or year end products such as trial balances, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, or cash flow statements
Reviews, investigates and resolves significant accounting and reporting issues
Interacts with operating and staff personnel to supply or explain data and secure information
Identifies and helps implement process improvement opportunities
Reviews key contracts and complex arrangements to ensure compliance with India and US GAAP
Supports business units across several locations
Uses, protects, and discloses patients’ protected health information in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
Performs special projects and additional duties

Requirements:

Ability to handle ambiguity and lack of structure
7+ years private industry accounting experience
Strong knowledge of Direct and Indirect Taxation (Filling ITR, Tax Audit, GST compliances, withholding Tax compliances and other compliances)
Thorough understanding of Indian GAAP principals
Minimum of master’s degree in accounting or CA-Inter
