Reimbursement Specialist

• Verify patient eligibility and benefits for various healthcare programs and services
• process and submit reimbursement claims to insurance providers and third-party payers
• research and resolve claim denials, rejections, and payment discrepancies
• communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure proper claim resolution
• maintain detailed and accurate records of reimbursement activities and patient interactions
• stay up-to-date on healthcare regulations, insurance policies, and program guidelines
• collaborate with internal teams to address patient needs

• High school diploma or equivalent
• associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, finance, or a related field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in reimbursement, medical billing, or claims processing preferred
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• proficiency in medical billing software, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems
• knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorization, and claims submission processes
• certification in medical billing/coding (e.g., CPC, CPB) is a plus
