Job Description:

The Regional Head role involves strategic planning and execution, sales team management, client relationship management, overseeing sales operations, and maintaining product knowledge and expertise. The candidate will develop sales strategies, conduct market research, oversee sales pipelines, and lead a high-performing team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored for the targeted partner network
  • Conduct customer mapping, market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities
  • Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the sales team
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and regular feedback to team members
  • Monitor team performance and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with distributor partners, financial advisors, and other key stakeholders
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients in the financial sector
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize revenue and ensure client satisfaction
  • Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure it is accurately maintained and updated
  • Implement sales processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness in generating Assets Under Management (AUM)
  • Collaborate with marketing, product management, and operations teams to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and client satisfaction
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the products
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors affecting the private market investment industry
  • Provide expert advice and insights to clients and investors regarding fund performance and investment strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
  • Proven experience in a senior sales role within an Asset Management Company
  • Understanding of Private Market is preferred but not necessary
  • Strong network and relationship with top private banks & wealth management set-ups
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic sales plans
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Results-oriented with a strong track

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of Private Market
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
