Job Description:

As a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will apply your pharmacy school learning to real-world practice, assisting pharmacy teams in daily operations. This includes prescription fulfillment, patient education, inventory management, and compliance with regulations. You will also gain operational insights and mentorship to prepare for a future Pharmacist role.

Job Responsibility:

Following all company SOPs to help manage and improve patient health
Ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment at various pharmacy workstations
Creating heartfelt and personalized patient experiences
Providing patient education and counseling under pharmacist supervision
Assisting with inventory activities like deliveries and cycle counts
Supporting offsite clinics and immunizations where permitted
Adhering to all laws, regulations, and ethical principles
Actively seeking opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge

Requirements:

Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Nice to have:

1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to become immunization certified
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
