Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to deliver exceptional customer experiences by building relationships, proposing appropriate financial products, and assisting with basic service tasks. Candidates will assist customers with account services and help them succeed financially while maintaining professionalism and compliance with bank policies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in delivery of exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially
  • assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
  • develop understanding of bank products and services to connect to customers' needs
  • provide appropriate options for bank products and services to customers
  • refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed
  • maintain cash drawer, cash handling and balancing, and handle service-related tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options
  • ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members
  • ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
  • ability to help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members as appropriate
  • proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues
  • relevant military experience including working in personnel benefits management, processing military personnel orders or transitions, wartime readiness operations, or military recruiting
  • experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships
  • customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.

Nice to have:

  • Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email
  • experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs
  • experience identifying potential fraud/risky accounts and taking appropriate action to prevent loss
  • relevant military experience including working with military protocol and instructions, enlisted evaluations, officer/leadership reporting.
