Job Description:

A landmark retail development within a prominent mixed-use destination in Penang, strategically positioned for high visibility and strong footfall. The mall offers a curated mix of retail, F&B, and lifestyle experiences, supported by reputable developers with a long-term vision for placemaking and destination-driven appeal.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and execute marketing strategies to position the mall as a key retail and lifestyle destination
Plan and manage events, campaigns, and promotions to drive footfall and increase revenue
Work closely with tenants and the leasing team on joint marketing and cross-promotions
Oversee branding, advertising, influencer partnerships, and social media presence
Conduct market research and apply shopper insights to improve targeting and engagement
Manage the annual marketing budget and ensure effective use of resources
Build partnerships with government bodies, tourism boards, NGOs, and corporate sponsors
Track marketing performance and suggest improvements based on results
Stay updated on industry trends to keep the mall’s marketing fresh and competitive
Maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, media, and community partners

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field
Minimum 5-7 years of marketing experience, preferably in retail, shopping malls, or lifestyle-related industries
Proven track record in planning and executing events, marketing campaigns, and digital initiatives
Driven, ambitious, and assertive, with a hands-on approach
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
