Job Description:

We are supporting our client – GAP İnşaat - one of the leading general contractors – in recruiting for the position of Lifting Supervisor to join a nationally strategic project: the construction of the FSRU terminal, one of the key energy investments in the region, to be built in Gdańsk.

Job Responsibility:

supervise daily lifting operations, including heavy lifts, vessel lifts, subsea equipment handling, and structural installations
ensure lifting activities are conducted according to approved lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements
inspect lifting equipment (e.g., cranes, slings, shackles) and verify valid certifications
lead toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings
enforce permit-to-work and HSE procedures
monitor rigging crew performance and ensure safe rigging practices are followed
coordinate with barge masters, crane operators, engineers, and offshore supervisors
maintain accurate records of lifting activities, checklists, and incident reports

Requirements:

relevant technical qualification or lifting certification
minimum 5 years of experience in offshore lifting operations, including heavy lifts
strong understanding of offshore lifting standards (e.g., LOLER, IMCA, API RP 2D)
knowledge of rigging practices, crane operations, load charts, and HSE procedures
good English communication skills and ability to lead multinational lifting teams
