Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to lead complex initiatives, participate in projects to improve infrastructure, evaluate software solutions, review outages, design and maintain infrastructure solutions, and collaborate with teams and vendors.

Job Responsibility:

Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications
Participate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructure
Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals
Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future
Design, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendors
Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirements
Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with customer and vendor

Requirements:

5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Engineering and development experience on middleware messaging platforms: IBM MQ. Solace & Confluent Kafka.
Should have handled and performed full cycle upgrades in production IBM MQ. Solace & Confluent Kafka.environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies (from a platform setup and optimization point)
Hands on Experience with Java, Microservices, Sprint boot, MongoDB, Kafka.
Software development experience any one of the programming languages Java/NodeJS.
Excellent working experience and deeper knowledge in Spring Framework and API’s.
Hands on experience with Automation Scripting: Bash, Shell, Ansible, Terraform, Azure DevOps
Experience with Cloud technologies: PCF/AKS/Azure.
Knowledge on database technologies: SQL/No SQL DB.
Should have setup and used Observability/Monitoring tools: Elastic, Kibana, Grafana, AppDynamics, Kafka, Big Panda, Splunk
Should have worked with one or more CI/CD Pipeline (GitHub, Jenkins) and Automation tools: Gradle, Maven, Git, Ansible, Puppet
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings)
Hands on Python scripting skill.
