Equipment Coordinator

• Continuously track the movement and location of trailers within the terminal (in/out, arrival, departure)
• Regularly update the trailer's status in the system
• Conduct routine checks on trailers for damage or maintenance needs. Update system with any maintenance requests or issues found.
• Monitor and record how often each trailer is used, how long it remains idle, and the frequency of maintenance or downtime.
• Communicate with logistics, maintenance, and loading/unloading teams regarding trailer status, availability, and any special needs (e.g., specific trailer requirements for a shipment).
• Administrative data management tasks
• Other duties relevant to the role

• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or administration position
• Bilingual French & English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Computer skills – MS products, Truck Mate and web-based programs and to ability to learn new software's with ease
• Demonstrated customer relationship skills
• Strong conflict resolution skills and to ability to work in fast paced environments
• Previous Transportation or operational experience is preferred, various roles within transportation would be beneficial
• Able to work deadlines in high transactional environment
• Results focused
