Job Description:

The Digital & Data Transformation Lead will be responsible for driving the strategic development and execution of digital and data transformation initiatives across the organization. This role will focus on leveraging advanced technologies, data analytics, and process optimization to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experiences, and create new revenue streams. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in leading complex transformation programs in a multinational manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibility:

Perform an in-depth assessment of current data assets and sources, pinpointing areas for enhancement and consolidation
Spearhead the creation of a robust, scalable data architecture that integrates data seamlessly from manufacturing, sales, and other key business functions
Partner with cross-functional Agile teams to architect and deploy a secure, scalable data lakehouse, ensuring data accessibility and integrity
Develop and implement AI-driven analytics and machine learning models to extract actionable insights from the data lakehouse, driving business value
Utilize insights to streamline production workflows, refine sales approaches, and boost overall operational performance
Lead and manage the department, overseeing team growth, performance evaluations, recruitment, and personnel decisions while fostering a high-performing team culture
Mentor and coach team members, aligning their development with organizational goals and promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration
Serve as a strategic advisor to the Chief Digitalization Officer, offering data-driven recommendations to shape the company’s digital transformation strategy

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline
Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master’s) in a technical or scientific field is a strong advantage
Experience in manufacturing or electronics industries is highly desirable
Extensive experience as a software developer, with proven expertise in designing, building, and implementing scalable software solutions
Deep knowledge of agile development practices, with significant experience leading Scrum-based projects
Demonstrated success in managing and delivering complex, enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives
Minimum of 10 years in a leadership role, such as team lead or department head, within software development, IT, or data-focused teams
Outstanding strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to address challenges and drive innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment
Strong proficiency in modern digital technologies, including data analytics, AI, machine learning, and automation, with a focus on integrating these into business operations
Proficient in Chinese and English
