Job Description:

Our Client is an established MNC looking for a new Database Administrator (SQL) / DBA as part of their investment in technology. The role includes managing SQL databases, monitoring performance, implementing backup and recovery solutions, and assisting developers. Candidates with cloud and scripting experience are highly preferred.

Job Responsibility:

Managing SQL databases, monitoring system's health and performance including database fine tuning and configuration
Gathering, organizing, and transforming raw data into insights understandable by business stakeholders
Ensuring database performance and availability, reviewing database server performance
Implementing database solutions and testing database backup and recovery plans
Refining and automating regular processes, tracking issues, and documenting changes
Assisting developers with query tuning and schema refinement

Requirements:

At least 5 years of Database administration experience - MYSQL Oracle or MSSQL / SQL
Experience in cloud such as AWS or Azure is an added advantage
Scripting experience for automation is an added advantage

Nice to have:

Experience in cloud such as AWS or Azure
Scripting for automation
