Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate and empathetic individuals to join a leading Bank as Call Centre Operators within a Bereavement Services team. This is a 6-month contract position located in Melbourne's CBD, with the opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity after training (8 weeks). You will play a pivotal role in supporting clients who are navigating one of the most difficult times of their lives.

Job Responsibility:

Receive inbound calls from customers who require assistance with bereavement services
Provide empathetic, clear, and effective communication to clients during sensitive times
Assist clients with navigating account processes, claim procedures, and required documentation
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all compliance and privacy regulations
Provide excellent customer service while offering emotional support and guidance

Requirements:

A strong sense of empathy and the ability to remain calm and supportive in emotionally charged situations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Previous customer service experience, ideally in a call centre or support role
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
A positive and proactive attitude towards problem-solving
