Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee for National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. The trainee will participate in a Branch Manager Readiness program and transition to a branch upon program completion. Branch Managers lead and manage teams, enhance customer experiences, drive business growth, ensure operational excellence, and adhere to regulations.

Job Responsibility:

  • coach, develop and build a high performing team to execute on business strategies, achieve results, and drive growth of the business
  • coach bankers to engage customers, build relationships, and help customers succeed financially
  • resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding the customer and employee experience, risk, and growth
  • identify opportunities for making banking easier through education and digital options
  • lead while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners
  • mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
  • comply with S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 requirements and Loan Originator requirements

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
  • ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months, depending on location
  • SAFE registration at the time of employment, meeting the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations
  • compliance with Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z, including acceptable financial responsibility and criminal background standards
  • not eligible for Visa sponsorship

  • experience building relationships with customers, internal partners, and within the community
  • experience identifying complex financial needs and providing relevant options to customers
  • ability to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology and share the value of digital banking
  • knowledge of banking industry laws, regulations, compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • relevant military experience in human resources or benefits management
