Job Description:

Join HSBC as Associate Director, Software Engineering to lead a team within Asia Technology and foster technical excellence in data-related infrastructure, DevOps compliance, and process automation.

Job Responsibility:

Lead DevOps team at ASP market tech center
ensure compliance with DevOps standards and policies
deliver data-related infrastructure for optimized storage
assist resolution of database and middleware incidents
establish digital environment and automation
foster business collaboration through communication
translate technical details into business strategies
direct collaboration with Product Owners
promote team productivity and self-improvement
develop business cases for technical debt benefits

Requirements:

Subject Matter Expert in database management, middleware, data processing, and data lifecycle management
delivery and support of data-related infrastructure for large applications
identification and resolution of incidents related to databases and middleware
automation of processes for high-quality code and data
collaboration with Product Owners without intermediary roles
fostering continuous improvement
promotion of technical debt and platform improvement benefits
