Job Description:

The Application Engineer will be responsible for reviewing customer specifications, preparing bills of materials, developing necessary schematics, providing technical support, verifying project compliance, and facilitating the completion of project deliverables, ensuring thorough familiarity with company policies, procedures, and standards.

Job Responsibility:

Review customer specifications and drawings for correctness and completeness and resolve discrepancies
Prepare a complete bill of material ABOM & FBOM
Develop the necessary electrical schematics and instruction for drafting
Provide technical assistance to internal/external customers
Verify the Customer’s purchase order and provide feedback to the Project Manager
Arrange to have appropriate drawings made available to the customer for review and approval
Provide assistance to the manufacturing operation, technical assistance to assembly and test personnel at factory, and meet customer engineering personnel for final inspection or witness test
Provide the required documentation package to the customer
Provide field assistance whenever required to ensure customer satisfaction
Assist and coordinate with Expeditor and Manager or Supervisor
Ensure compliance with company policies and government laws
Support Project Manager on order transfer from commercial engineer or sales
Assist Project Manager in handling kick-off meetings and coordinating with related departments to ensure project delivery matches margin, delivery date, and quality requirements

Requirements:

Electrical Automation background, AutoCAD/CERO design experience preferred
Good English written and speaking
B.S. Electrical Engineering Degree or related degree
At least 5 years’ experience on electrical engineering design
Be familiar with LV electrical equipment, such as Switchgear/MCC/Distribution Board/etc.
Multiple electrical package experience is plus
Project management experience is plus
