Job Description:

Are you looking for an accounting opportunity in the Montréal area? Our client, a well-established company in Montréal, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their dynamic team. If you have strong organizational skills and experience in managing accounts payable, this could be the perfect role for you!

Job Responsibility:

Validate, code, and enter supplier invoices into the system
Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts
Reconcile supplier statements and verify credits
Issue payments and ensure deadlines are met
Respond to supplier and internal stakeholder inquiries
Perform intercompany transactions and general ledger account analysis

Requirements:

College diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma (DEP) in accounting
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable
Experience in retail (an asset)
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Great Plains software (an asset)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice to have:

Experience in retail
Knowledge of Great Plains software
