Job Responsibility:

responsible for maintaining accounts and financial statements in accordance with accounting practices for Ukraine
preparation of statutory accounts and fiscal reporting
may also include payroll, tax (VAT / CIT / PIT) and treasury
coordinating and liaising with CEE accounting team
month-end closure management
preparing reports and analyses as required
processing sales invoices, purchase invoices, payments, bank statements, travel expenses, allocation of charges, ICO billing and fixed assets control
performing a variety of routine accounting duties as directed. Verifying the accuracy, completeness and consistency of accounting information received. Reconciling accounts, balances, etc.
know-how in international and UA accounting and tax rules / regulations and proactive adaptation into local finance and accounting practices (prep of required tax calcs and returns)
following and ensuring compliance with ethical and legal guidelines

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Full professional proficiency in Ukrainian
minimum English proficiency at B2 level
previous experience in accounting or finance positions, with a focus on general accounting and tax
technical skills: proficiency in accounting software (preferably SAP)
in-depth understanding of Ukrainian tax legislation and compliance requirements
advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data and preparing precise reports
high ethical standards and integrity
excellent organizational abilities and effective time management
ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
