This involves gathering, measuring, washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning all the ingredients needed for their station. During service, Line Cooks are tasked with preparing and cooking food items according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. They must expertly operate a variety of kitchen equipment, including stoves, ovens, grills, broilers, fryers, and sauté stations. A critical part of the role is monitoring food quality, ensuring every dish that leaves the kitchen is cooked to perfection, plated correctly, and served at the ideal temperature.
