Common duties include maintaining accurate and confidential employee records within HR Information Systems (HRIS), processing contractual changes, and supporting payroll activities. They are often tasked with reviewing, developing, and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose and legally compliant. Furthermore, HR Advisors frequently contribute to wider HR projects, such as launching employee well-being programmes, driving engagement initiatives, and identifying company-wide training needs in collaboration with Learning and Development teams. To succeed in HR Advisor jobs, certain skills and qualifications are typically required.
