Employee (IRPS + INPS)
- IRPS is progressive on annual income: 0% up to CVE 150,000; 10% to 300,000; 15% to 500,000; 20% to 800,000; 25% above.
- INPS (social security): employee 8.5% and employer 16% of gross salary. The employee contribution is deductible before IRPS.
- Taxable annual income = annual gross - employee INPS.
- The model computes the single-person case; family-situation deductions are out of scope.

Self-employed (sole proprietor)
- Self-employed business income is taxed on the same IRPS scale on annual net profit (revenue minus actual expenses); INPS is not modelled for the self-employed case.
