You will work in an engaged and knowledgeable group responsible for developing and managing self-developed map applications used on multiple platforms - from stationary computers to police cars and mobile devices such as iPad and iPhone. The group's applications are used daily by operational and strategic functions within the authority to create a geographical situational picture and make well-founded decisions in real time and in critical situations. The group is currently developing the next generation of map applications - modern, user-friendly solutions that will replace today's systems.

Jobbansvar:

New development of both frontend and backend solutions
Maintenance and further development of complex systems with high demands on security and performance
Actively contribute to technical guidelines and architectural choices to develop sustainable and efficient system solutions
Close collaboration, for example through operational internships with end users within police operations to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions

Krav:

Relevant academic education in IT, or equivalent acquired competence that the Police Authority deems equivalent
Several years of work experience in system development with programming languages C# or Java that the employer deems relevant
Work experience in system design and participation in discussions about system architecture
Very good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written
Good knowledge of English both spoken and written
Swedish citizenship required

Önskvärt:

Work experience in development with programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript/TypeScript, SpringBoot, WinUI or WPF
Work experience in test automation and test-driven development
Work experience in IT infrastructure components, e.g. Kubernetes and Docker
Work experience in build automation, and experience of working according to a CI/CD flow running on Jenkins
Work experience in an organization with high security requirements, with a good understanding of IT security principles
