• Participate in hot compression tests with a Gleeble test
• Perform heat treatments such as solution treatment and quenching
• Prepare samples and study microstructure using optical microscopy
• Document results and discuss them with supervisors

• Completed year 4 of a civil engineering program or studying first year of a master's program in material design, material physics, technical physics or a related field
• Very good knowledge of English
• Interest in materials science and willingness to develop in the field
