Energy Trader

• Execute the purchase and sale of energy, fuel and CO2 financial products - by operating in organized markets and/or bilateral/OTC for the purchase and sale of electricity, fuel and CO2 in order to implement the proprietary trading and hedging strategy defined by the GEM
• Ability to have a fast adaptability to the market context: volatility, turbulence, regulatory changes and the change of the mix of products being traded
• Counterparty relationship management
• Ability to analyze reports/presentations related to Commodities Markets and Area Trends
• Develop and improve trading procedures and support tools

• Bachelor or Masters in Economics, Management, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics
• Maximum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of commodities markets and at least one traded product by EDP is valued
• Notion of how financial markets work (preferably commodities) as well as available assets
• Capacity of adaptation to fast changing environments
• Notion of urgency and priority
• Good cooperation skills with other teams
• Detail oriented and problems solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills with strong networking capability
• Fluent English and Spanish is valued
