Electrical Protection Technician position in EDP's Hydro Operation Management and Optimization Department, responsible for planning and managing activities of operation, maintenance, and optimization of the hydroelectric production system

Responsabilidades:

Perform routine testing of electrical protections and troubleshoot faults in hydroelectric production centers
Monitor service contracts including installation and commissioning of new electrical protection systems
Collaborate with more experienced professionals to detect, analyze, and resolve faults in electrical systems
Work together with project managers in preparing technical specifications and evaluating proposals
Interpret electrical diagrams, drawings, and technical instructions
Prepare work plans and write intervention reports
Assemble or install equipment for diagnostics and electronic instrumentation testing

Requisitos:

Training at 12th grade/Technical-professional courses such as Electrical Installations, Electrotechnics, Automation, or related areas (level 5 Technological Specialization – Mechatronics or equivalent is preferred)
Professional experience between 5 and 10 years in the electrical sector with advanced knowledge in power electronics and digital systems
Fluency in English is essential (speaking, reading, and writing)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SAP are preferred
Driving license and availability to travel to the various Hydro Production Centers across the country (mandatory)

Desejável:

Level 5 Technological Specialization – Mechatronics or equivalent
Familiarity with SAP
