Electrical Protection Technician position in EDP's Hydro Operation Management and Optimization Department, responsible for planning and managing activities of operation, maintenance, and optimization of the hydroelectric production system, maximizing value creation while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Responsabilidades:

Perform routine tests of electrical protections and troubleshoot faults in the installations of hydro production centers
Oversee service contracts, including the installation and commissioning of new electrical protection systems
Ensure the proper functioning of electrical protection systems by troubleshooting or performing tests
Collaborate with more qualified professionals to detect, analyze, and resolve faults in electrical systems, which may involve repairing equipment in the laboratory
Work with project managers in the preparation of specifications and the evaluation of proposals
Participate in the study of altering settings/programming of electrical protection systems
Interpret electrical diagrams, drawings, and technical instructions
Perform preventive maintenance on electronic equipment and specialized diagnostic tests on electrical protection systems
Prepare work and intervention reports
Install or place equipment for diagnostics and testing of electronic instrumentation

Requisitos:

Training at 12th grade/Technical-professional courses such as Electrical Installations, Electrotechnics, Automation, or related areas (level 5 Technological Specialization – Mechatronics or equivalent is preferred)
Professional experience between 5 and 10 years in the electrical sector, with advanced knowledge in power electronics and digital systems
Fluency in English is essential (speaking, reading, and writing)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SAP are preferred
Driving license and availability to travel to the various Hydro Production Centers across the country (mandatory)
Collaboration and networking, ability to handle pressure, agility and quickness, curiosity and self-development, good interpersonal relationships, and team spirit

Desejável:

Level 5 Technological Specialization – Mechatronics or equivalent
Familiarity with SAP
