The Analytics Efficiency and Performance area of Networks Platform is looking to recruit a Data Scientist. EDP is a global energy group present in around 30 markets with a particular emphasis on renewable energies. Responsabilidades:

Develop studies and models to support the detection of consumption anomalies and revenue losses, using different analytical methods of Business Intelligence and Machine Learning
Provide technical and operational support to the analytical processes for detecting revenue-at-risk situations, promoting interaction with the involved areas
Ensure the monitoring and tracking of the performance of these processes, identifying new business requirements and collaborating in their implementation
Support the development and maintenance of regulatory reporting processes and other kpi

Requisitos:

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or another relevant experience for the position
Up to 3 years' experience in a similar role
Additional training (e.g., postgraduate studies) in Data Science, Machine Learning, or other relevant areas is valued
Experience in Database (e.g., PL-SQL or T-SQL) (mandatory)
Python or R
Azure/Databricks, with a focus on developments supported by PySpark or similar
Data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBi)
Knowledge in the field of electrical engineering - energy is valued
Proficiency in Portuguese and English (mandatory), both spoken and written
Proficiency in Office tools
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
Proactive, autonomous, and resilient, with experience in global, multi-project environments

Desejável:

Additional training (e.g., postgraduate studies) in Data Science, Machine Learning, or other relevant areas is valued
Knowledge in the field of electrical engineering - energy is valued
