Opis stanowiska:

We are looking for a Backend Developer (Java). You will be part of a team responsible for the development and maintenance of the company’s key e-commerce platform – e-Cat – and related tools. The goal is to rebuild our legacy monolith into a set of modern, efficient microservices – and your role will be crucial in making this shift happen.

Obowiązki:

Developing applications and services in a microservices architecture
Ensuring high security, scalability, and performance of delivered solutions
Integrating with internal and external systems and components
Writing unit and integration tests
Supporting the transformation from monolithic systems to distributed services
Participating in architecture design with a focus on long-term maintainability
Communicating and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

Wymagania:

At least several years of experience in backend development (Java 11/17, Spring Boot, REST APIs)
Experience writing unit and integration tests
Working knowledge of containerization and deployment tools (Docker, basic Kubernetes)
General understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes
Fluency in spoken and written English (minimum B2)
Ability to work independently, take ownership and prioritize tasks
Analytical thinking and the ability to understand technical and business requirements

Mile widziane:

Experience with message brokers (e.g. Kafka)
Exposure to performance monitoring or tuning
Proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative
Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders
Experience in working with frontend/backend teams on full product lifecycle
Openness to feedback, sharing knowledge and continuous learning
