Software Engineering Sales Area – where technology meets business! We are a team of experts in backend, frontend, big data, and QA, responsible for everything that happens in the order and promotion processes on our B2B sales platform. We're supported by an Architect with extensive business and technical knowledge, enabling us to create solutions that truly make a difference. When an ambitious goal arises – like delivering goods to a customer within 2 hours or selling directly from the manufacturer's warehouse – we build a Feature Team and, together with business experts, turn ideas into innovations. We're not afraid of challenges: we refactor monoliths, implement the latest architectural trends, and continuously optimize our solutions to make them faster, better, and more scalable.

Obowiązki:

Collaborate within a domain team of developers to shape the future of data engineering and build an event-sourcing architecture
Design and develop data structures, pipelines, and ETL processes to move and transform terabytes of data between applications
Implement Data Governance practices to ensure data security, transparency, and high quality

Wymagania:

At least 2 years of experience in development, deployment and operation of IT systems
1+ years of professional programming in Scala
Excellent understanding of relational databases and practical SQL
Practical experience with some Big Data technologies from Apache stack, such as Spark, Hadoop and Kafka
Basic understanding of Python and its concepts
Basic experience with Linux systems, especially CLI and basic bash understanding
Knowledge of system integration techniques, such as web services, API and messaging
Good understanding of general computer science issues such as computational complexity, algorithms, performance analysis and optimization
Strong communication skills, sense of ownership and attention to details
Fluency both in spoken and written English

Mile widziane:

Good understanding of modern Data Science techniques and tools
2+ years of professional programming in Scala
Experience with utilized tools: Spark, Airflow, Kafka, Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN), NiFi, Sqoop, Hive, HBase, Gitlab
Understanding of Agile project methodologies, such as Scrum
