Group Senior Internal Auditor

• Preparation of the business process map and the work program for each audit
• Conducting the domestic / abroad audits in a combination of onsite and offsite procedures, based on the approved work program
• Interviews with managers and staff, reviews of: documentation, processes, IT systems, transactions processing, and performing test transactions
• Preparing the necessary audit documentation and paperwork
• Evaluating existing internal controls and gaps
• Communication of the audit findings on the exit meetings to the management
• Providing clear, articulated recommendations for improvements in operations and internal controls
• Writing audit reports and communication the results of audit to the management and ensure its timely submission
• Monitoring corrective actions and communication with management
• Conducting yearly risk assessment with other auditors
• Recording and updating of audit results in Audit database
• Conducting / participating in conduction of approximately 7 – 9 audits / year (some of them in Poland), 3-5 of them outside of Poland. Audits are max 2 weeks, when abroad, staying over weekend there

• 2+ years of work experience in internal auditing / auditing on similar position
• Master’s degree, diploma in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline
• Certificate (CIA) from the IIA, ACCA, CA or other are advantages
• Strong written / verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
• Strong feeling of responsibility for assigned and performed tasks
• Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-tasking
• Ability to handle sensitive information
• Ability to keep the strict deadlines
• Ability to make notes on laptop effectively and efficiently
• Very good written and spoken English and Polish
