Job Description

Zone Manager – DRP Implementation (North Central Region and Northeast Region). The Zone Manager – DRP Implementation primary responsibility is to coach and train the DRP Implementation Managers on GM’s Digital Retail Platform strategy, process and platform while also directly supervising the teams located in North Central and Northeast regions. This role is categorized as remote; however, the selected candidate must live in an approved city within the assigned territory or be willing to relocate. The candidate will be required to relocate, or already reside in the approved city no later than the timeline provided at offer. The selected candidate will be required to travel <25% for this role. This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate. This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis and successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review. GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role. Do not apply for this role if you will need GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future. Job Responsibility

  • Develop team capability in GM’s Digital Retail Platform strategy, process, and platform
  • Coach and train DRP Implementation Managers to strengthen platform knowledge, improve implementation efficiency, and drive adoption of best practices
  • Lead day-to-day team management, including direct supervision of DRP Implementation Managers across multiple SSM regions
  • Establish, monitor, and improve team KPIs to measure DRP implementation success and overall team performance
  • Provide insights into the team on DRP utilization and dealer activities
  • Build consistency across regions by standardizing implementation processes, playbooks, and performance expectations
  • Provide feedback and insights into DRP Directors, Divisional Leadership and GM Sr. Leaders on DRP Implementation
  • Assist in the management of various external partners who contribute to the ongoing construction and support of the DRP and DRP Implementation
  • Inform dealers and divisional field personnel of DRP Implementation progress and key areas such as training
  • Facilitating Field and Regional Office employee DRP immersions and updates
  • Sharing Best Practices
  • Participate in periodic market and dealership visits with divisional Field Teams to create engagement in Digital Retailing and DRP

Requirements

  • Academic (Degree – Bachelors) Required
  • 5+ years of sales & service experience (multi-discipline, field, corporate)
  • Experience managing cross channel programs
  • Experience interfacing with automotive dealers
  • Customer Experience focused initiatives
  • Reporting, data and analytics
  • Thorough knowledge in the operation and implementation of Digital Retailing Tools (required) (DRP, Roadster, Gubagoo…etc.)
  • Knowledgeable of / experience working in the Retail Innovation space
  • Project management experience (preference)
  • Training in education field (required)
  • Some travel required
