The Zerto Account Manager is responsible for leading pursuit and providing specialist expertise within the Enterprise sales team. They drive proactive campaigns to build the pipeline, use specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate and close opportunities. This role focuses on sales of Zerto products and solutions, working with enterprise clients up to C-level, and collaborating across HPE teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Lead pursuit and provide specialist expertise within Enterprise sales team
Drive proactive campaigns to build pipeline
Prospect, qualify, negotiate and close opportunities
Responsible for sales of Zerto products and solutions
Seek out new opportunities by expanding existing opportunities
Develop pursuit plans and manage Zerto sales pipeline
Contribute to proposal development, negotiations and deal closings
Build sales readiness through effective knowledge transfer in data protection
Participate in client engagements up to C-level
Direct and coordinate supporting sales activities
Collaborate across HPE teams for end-to-end solutions
Assess solution feasibility from technical and business perspective
Negotiate profitable deals
Establish professional and consultative relationships with clients
Interface with internal and external experts
Lead and coordinate Zerto marketing campaigns
Reinforce HPE's strategy and portfolio to partners
Use references to craft compelling stories
Generate customer interest and understand buying trends
Requirements:
Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota
4-8+ years of sales experience
Data protection and resilience related sales experience strongly desired
Extensive vertical industry knowledge
Uses expertise to negotiate and drive deals
Uses client engagement skills in collaboration with account leads
Demonstrates hunter mentality to actively pursue solution opportunities
Possesses knowledge of digital and modern methods to connect and sell
Deep knowledge of data protection solution or service offerings
Understands how company's solutions address specific vertical industry challenges
Solid communication skills
Advanced financial acumen
Good prioritization and delegation skills
