Our YouTube team is growing, and we are on the lookout for YouTube experts across all seniorities. As a Channel Manager, you’ll be responsible for building, publishing and optimising video performance across our channels. This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, platform performance and video monetisation. As a Senior Channel Manager, you will be required to have existing team management experience, and will be responsible for wider strategy and commercial growth.
Job Responsibility
Own the day-to-day management of YouTube channels including scheduling, optimisation and feed strategy
Become the internal expert on the channel's audience and competitive category
Analyse and monitor YouTube channel performance
Bringing a commercial mindset towards YouTube
Work closely with editorial, production and social teams to shape and activate a clear YouTube strategy
For senior roles, managing the day-to-day output of the team and quality control across the portfolio
Requirements
Prior experience managing and scaling high-performing YouTube channels, with a strong focus on YouTube platform
A deep understanding and a genuine passion for YouTube, including what drives performance, monetisation and algorithms
Experience using data to inform content decisions, with the ability to translate analytics into actionable strategy
Commercial mindset, with experience optimising content for platform revenue as well as reach
For senior level roles, previous experience managing a team
An entrepreneurial, test-and-learn mentality, with a desire to build, iterate and improve systems and processes
