We are currently seeking a pool of casual staff who will provide respite for the permanent carers of up to 5 young people living in the Kick Start program. The successful candidate will be part of a team that will be on a largely weekend rotating roster. Hours of work are flexible. This role would suit a candidate with additional study/work commitments.
Job Responsibility:
Provide respite for the permanent carers of up to 5 young people living in the Kick Start program
Includes overnight sleepover shifts
Requirements:
Minimum Cert IV in youth work or similar field
Flexible working hours including shift work, weekends and sleep overs
Current unrestricted drivers licence
Current First Aid Certificate
Current Working With Children's Check
Nice to have:
Experience in Out of Home Care
Previous employment with children and families
Ability to work as a part of a team and independently
