Job Description

Youth Support Worker responsible for developing, assisting and supporting clients in various locations. Works within Allambi Care's strength-based, non-punitive, therapeutic model to provide safety and meet growth needs for clients with complex medical and behavioural needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Developing, assisting and supporting clients daily
  • Providing safety to clients while identifying and meeting growth needs
  • Working within a therapeutic model of care
  • Forming genuine bonds with young people in care

Requirements

  • Ability to work overnights, weekends, and holiday periods
  • Must provide 24-hour round-the-clock care
  • Willingness to work in various locations (houses, schools, hospitals, community centres, emergency accommodation)
  • Ability to work with clients of all age groups with complex medical and behavioural needs
  • Commitment to a strength-based, non-punitive, therapeutic model of care
