We’re looking for caring and motivated role models to support tamariki and rangatahi in our residential and community services. As a Youth Support Worker, you’ll walk alongside young people who may have faced significant challenges, helping them build resilience, confidence, and self-belief. You’ll be a mentor and guide — encouraging growth, fostering positive connections, and opening doors to meaningful opportunities in their community. You’ll also be part of a supportive, values-driven team that works together to make a real difference every day. This is your chance to help shape young lives and support rangatahi to thrive.
Job Responsibility:
Walk alongside young people who may have faced significant challenges, helping them build resilience, confidence, and self-belief
Be a mentor and guide — encouraging growth, fostering positive connections, and opening doors to meaningful opportunities in their community
Support tamariki and rangatahi in residential and community services
Uphold CCT values of Respect (Whakaute), Reliability (Pono), Transparency (Puataata) and Responsiveness (Whakautu)
Requirements:
Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost)
Hold a full current NZ Driver License (Essential)
Be eligible to work in New Zealand
Have a valid work or student visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry
Be able to work at least one weekend shift per week
