Job Description:

The town of Dudley is seeking a qualified professional to serve as the Youth Services Librarian for the Pearle L. Crawford Memorial Library. This position falls under the direction of the Library Director.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform professional library work in planning, directing and scheduling children and teen-age library programs and services
  • Develop and be responsible for the selection of the print and non-print materials
  • Manage the material budget
  • Supervise the maintenance of the collection for the Youth Services division

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education with three to five years specialized in the field of library science
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills
  • Use of social media and the internet in support of library services and programs
