Job Description:

Youth Pastor; Teach teens and young adults; Preach from the pulpit in main Sunday service 6 times a year

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain your spiritual life and reputation through prayer, bible reading and fellowship
  • Prepare & deliver lessons for 2 weekday meetings and for Sunday
  • Teach and preach to inspire godliness and biblical knowledge
  • Biblical counseling as needed to the youth to provide support and guidance
  • Develop ministry programs for youth and young adults that will motivate them to be involved
  • Organize regular events such as Bible studies, outreach, social gatherings and retreats
  • Maintain accurate records of financial spending, participation and progress of youth
  • Communicate with the church leadership and parents to maintain church growth and vision
  • Report directly to the Senior Pastor with all ideas for approval and support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Leadership and teaching experience with youth in a faith-based organization
  • Speaking abilities to deliver Bible based lessons and sermons in an edifying manner
  • Skilled in mentoring youth towards spiritual growth and church & community participation
  • Have a personality that demonstrates the “fruits of the Spirit” towards other
