Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Youth Outreach Mentor to join the team at Brook Academy. This role focuses on supporting students with SEMH needs, helping them to manage emotions, improve behaviour, and re-engage with education. You will work closely with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, both within the academy and through targeted outreach and pastoral interventions. As a Youth Outreach Mentor, you will play a key role in building strong, trusting relationships and acting as a positive and consistent role model. You will support students' personal development, wellbeing, and engagement, using a calm, proactive, and empathetic approach when working with young people who may present with challenging behaviours.

Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes
