Job Responsibility
Delivering bespoke 1:1 sessions
Balancing basic academic mentorship with vital emotional regulation
Using trauma-informed approaches to safely de-escalate challenging moments
Helping these young people rebuild their self-esteem and learn to trust adults again
Working closely with local authorities to feedback on their milestones
Requirements
An experienced educator or tutor well-versed in SEMH, EBD, and trauma-informed care.
Someone with a calm, resilient presence and strong behaviour management skills (Team Teach is a plus).
Professionals from alternative provision, youth justice, or residential care backgrounds who refuse to give up on a child after a difficult day.
