Job Description

Affinity Partnerships are working with an outstanding special school which aims to provide innovative education and a challenging environment for pupils aged 2 to 19. The school specialises in educating pupils with a wide range of Social, Emotional and mental health needs. As a Youth Mental health Support Worker, you will be involved in not only supporting pupils within the classroom but will also be comfortable with running activities with the pupil/s outside the classroom as well. Alongside the class teacher, you will also provide support with ensuring the right support is in place for the students.

Requirements

  • enthusiastic about supporting the mental health and well-being of children and young people
  • experience supporting pupils in school or an alternative setting is a great opportunity, but we will also be considering people without this experience
