Are you a passionate and caring individual ready to support children with Special Educational Needs? Affinity Partnerships is looking for enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team and make a meaningful difference in a Special Educational Needs School in Peterborough. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, we have rewarding opportunities to work with pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, cerebral palsy, and challenging behaviour.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting teachers in delivering a dynamic and inclusive curriculum
  • Assisting pupils with personal care and physical support needs, including moving and handling
  • Encouraging independence and maintaining dignity in all aspects of care
  • Helping pupils thrive through guided learning and development activities
  • Monitoring progress and sharing valuable insights with teaching staff
  • Keeping classrooms organised and resource-ready for learning

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or in a care setting (professional or personal)
  • Confidence in delivering personal care with empathy and respect
  • A valid enhanced DBS and the right to work in the UK
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEND

Nice to have

Relevant qualifications such as NVQ for Teaching Assistants or Health & Social Care
