Join our team in Bundaberg as a Youth Guide and embark on a thrilling journey to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for all who step through our doors! As the initial point of contact, your role will involve delivering exceptional customer service to welcome young people and their families, skillfully guiding them to our team of experts for further assistance.

Job Responsibility

  • Be the heart and face of yourtown and warmly greet all staff, members, and visitors to our site
  • Craft, plan, and deliver fantastic weekly events, bringing our young people & the community together with the perfect blend of hospitality and energy
  • Provide relevant information and support regarding, transport, amenities, and areas of interest around the site
  • Proactively find opportunities to provide positive and friendly service to staff and clients
  • Provide administration and office support to the wider team and organise office supplies and catering as required

Requirements

  • Be a natural problem solver and have the ability to connect with young people
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including the ability to successfully engage and deliver information to clients and staff
  • Friendly and self-aware team player with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Demonstrated experience in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • You enjoy cooking and utilising your creative flair to cook meals for our young people
