The Youth & Ethnic Segments Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for owning Vodafone’s Youth and Ethnic segments as key growth drivers of the business. The role has full P&L ownership and end-to-end responsibility for the Prepay business (including CU and international segments), as well as go-to-market ownership for postpay, fixed, and TV propositions targeting the youth segment. This position combines segment strategy, commercial ownership, and brand leadership, ensuring strong growth, engagement, and monetization across high-value customer segments.
Job Responsibility:
Define and lead the Youth & Ethnic segments strategy, strengthening Vodafone’s positioning with younger and international audiences
Own and deliver the full Prepay P&L (CU, TAZA and related propositions), driving revenue growth, base expansion and ARPU uplift through optimized pricing and commercial policies
Lead end-to-end go-to-market for Prepay propositions and drive GTM for youth-focused postpay, fixed and TV products, ensuring consistent execution across all channels
In partnership with the Vodafone Brand Team, shape brand positioning and communications for youth propositions, driving engagement via campaigns, partnerships and digital channels
Drive acquisition, engagement, retention and lifecycle performance (recharges and usage), working cross-functionally with Base Growth, Digital, Retail, Finance and Product to improve customer value and profitability
Requirements:
8–12+ years of experience in commercial, marketing, or segment management roles
Proven experience managing P&L and delivering growth in competitive markets, with a track record of revenue, base and ARPU uplift
Strong understanding of prepaid business dynamics and youth segments, including pricing, promotions and lifecycle management levers
Experience in brand management and customer engagement strategies, building relevance through campaigns, partnerships and digital channels
Highly analytical and data-driven, with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills and the ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution
