Conduct initial and comprehensive assessments for at-risk children and young people, providing direct support, crisis intervention, and referrals to appropriate services, including for mental health and neurodiversity needs
Manage safeguarding cases, maintain accurate records, attend statutory meetings, and ensure timely updates to support plans, risk assessments, and case notes
Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and statutory agencies to coordinate care, improve outcomes, and ensure effective service delivery
Guide residents through licence agreements, monitor rent and occupancy charges, support benefit access, and assist with move-on accommodation and tenancy sustainment
Coach and mentor residents using a strengths-based approach, promote education, training, and employment, and ensure adherence to MSV and Foyer policies and procedures.
Requirements
Good standard of education with minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent at Grade C or above including Maths and English
Experience of advocacy on behalf of customers
Experience of working with customers with Mental Health and Vulnerabilities
Good understanding of mental health and vulnerable customer needs of a knowledge of trauma informed practice
Managing and prioritising a demanding workload.
